REGISTRATION

All participants are required to be registered by the end of day,  April ,Friday  25th. 

ALL PAYMENTS MUST BE MADE BY WEDNESDAY 30th.

CAR, PIT/ TRACK SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

FUEL

 Racing gasoline, unleaded gasoline, methanol, gasohol, diesel, ethanol, natural gas and propane are permitted. Nitromethane prohibited.

 MASTER CUTOFF 

Mandatory on any car with a battery running 9.99 or quicker, any car exceeding 135 mph (217.2 km/h) or on any car where the battery is relocated.  

PARACHUTE 

Mandatory on any car with top speed in excess of 150 mph (241.4 km/h).

ROLL CAGE 

A roll cage is mandatory in cars running 9.99 or quicker or any car exceeding 135 mph (217.2 km/h).

Special Provisions for Vehicles Without Roll Cages 

For the purpose of clarity, all modifications are forbidden unless expressly authorized by these regulations.  Vehicles without roll cages are permitted, subject to the provisions outlined below.

 ● 2008-2013 OEM model-year production cars below 11.499 are permitted to run no quicker than 10.000 seconds and/or no faster than 135 mph. 

● 2014- Current OEM model-year production cars below 11.499 are permitted to run no quicker than 9.000 seconds and/or no faster than 150 mph. 

 PROTECTIVE CLOTHING 

Full-length pants, short or long-sleeved shirt, closed shoes, and socks. No shorts. No tank tops. No open-toe or open-heel shoes or sandals. Synthetic clothing is not recommended.

 9.99 to 9.00 or any vehicle exceeding 135 mph (217.2 km/h): Jacket and pants meeting SFI Spec 3.2A/5 and gloves meeting SFI Spec 3.3/1 mandatory.

Any vehicle with an automatic transmission in the driver compartment (no floor covering transmission): Jacket and pants or suit meeting SFI Spec 3.2A/15, gloves meeting SFI Spec 3.3/5, and boots or shoes meeting SFI Spec 3.3/5 mandatory. 

Pit/Track Safety Requirements

  1. All competitors must have a current, valid driver’s license.
  2. No person under the age of 16 will be allowed in the pit lane or start line.
  3. No short pants or open-toe shoes will be allowed in the pit lane or start line.
  4. There will be no holding of any cars during burnouts.
  5. Absolutely no glass bottles will be allowed in the pit area or on the Track.
  6. Absolutely no alcoholic beverages will be allowed in the pit area.
  7. Consumption of Alcohol by competitors or crew will result in Immediate Disqualification.
  8. Absolutely no cooking will be allowed in the pit area.

RACE FORMAT & SCHEDULE

 Thursday, May 1st – 

  • 8am – Drivers Briefing 
  • 10am – Test and Tune
  • Qualification

 Friday, May 2nd – 

  • 3pm – Meet and Greet- Arnos Vale Tarmac

Saturday, May 3rd-

  • 3pm Qualification (14-8)
  • 8pm Nitro Nights
  • ⅛ Grudge & night racing 

SUNDAY May 4th-

  • 1 pm- Team Championship Opening Remarks
  • 1:30- ¼ mile Team Competition followed by a ¼ mile grudge.
  • 7:30- Prize Ceremony
